Hives low platelets

I'm 7 month bypass and really doing well, weight lost a bit on the slow side 6 stone but my BMI has gone from 50 to 31 and I lost 71% of my excess weight .
However for about a month if I carry shopping or anything a little bit heavy I have skin reaction itch like hives !!! My bloods were ok , surgeon and dietitian happy . My platelets tending to be in the low end of normal ??? Has this happen to any one else ?

Hi I know this is an old post but wanted to say this is also happening to me post op.
If I get hot and sweaty I break out in hives. At first I thought I was allergic to the bathroom cleaner I was using but have now pin pointed other times that I might be Getty hot e.g carrying shopping, running for the bus. I am 8 months post bypass. I had a band for 6 years before that and never once had hives. My iron is also low but not sure if it is related at all.
