I'm going to Torrevejia for 9 days so excited coz ive never been on holiday thin since i was a teenager xx

this aug for 3 nights im going to Croaria with my friend...
and hoping to get a trip to turkey in as well...

last yr i went to turkey for 4 nights... amazing time... the year before went to morroc for 3 nights... something i would never have done pre opp... fear of not fitting in plane... tooo hot... not being able to wear cossie etc.. making up for lost time!!

Villares, near to Elche de la Sierra, in the Castilla La Mancha Mountains of Spain. Perfect countryside, fantastic views and fresh foods Peace quiet and relaxation. Town Pools filled from mountain springs warmed by the sun. Perfect.

We haven't been abroad since Dec 2008 when we went to Florida. My holiday was ruined due to my size and I said then I wouldn't go abroad again until my weight was under control. I went to see my doctor on my return from holiday and hopefully soon to be getting my date.

Last year we booked a private caravan in Skegness and could use Butlins facilities as part of the price of the caravan. Having a 7 year old son and an 18month old grandson it was actually a very nice holiday and my son loved the caravan experience. We enjoyed it so much we have decided to do it again this year, I'm just hoping my op doesn't co-inside with our booked date.

Next year, sunshine guaranteed holiday will be on the cards as long as I have lost enough weight to fly without needing an extender belt on the plane. Sigh!!

Off to see the folks in sunny Jamaica in November/December. As work owe me leave from last year I am taking a 4 week break. I haven't seen my dad since March 2010 and my parents are 76 and 75 so I am going to make the most of it.

We are off to cornwall for a month - leaving home at 5am tomorrow for our 500 mile journey .
I have lost 4. 5 stone since the beginning of my weightloss journey and now weigh 16 stone + but holidays are always a problem with ill fitting clothes and the usual problems that warm weather brings with it.
On the plus side however cornwall is such a beautiful place and is so good for walking -especially early morning beach sessions with the dog -- bring it on.

Walking on the beach with the dog......... that sounds like my idea of a holiday.
