Hi all,
Well i'm just back from the hospital & just as i thought there was alot of fluid build up, after a long wait i finally got to see a nurse who then had to get a doctor to take a look a me.
The doctor drained 250ml of fluid today & i have to go back again on Friday for another draining session.
It doesn't hurt at all, they put the needle in through my wound & as i still don't have much feeling there i didn't feel a thing which was good, i really was worried as i'm just starting to get some feeling back below my belly button.
From the outside it doesn't look like they've removed anything but i'm hoping the swelling will start to go down soon.
It's all a bit disheartening when you lose a lot of weight, go through the stress i've waiting to see if you are acepted for tt, & then after the op you swell so much you don't look like you have anything done at all, what is it they say 'patience is a virtue'.
I guess time will tell.
