hospital stay at SRH

Yeah i have a gastric bypass provisionally booked for the end of july with mr balapuri...what is the time spent in hospital on average? i am guessing about three days..would this be right x

I went in on the Thursday at 3pm I went down to theatre at 2.30pm on the Friday and back to the ward at 6pm and then they let me home on the Sunday afternoon once I had kept porridge down at breakfast and mash, veg & gravy down at dinner, Karen x

Usually discharged on 2nd/3rd post op day for bypass/sleeve, 1st/2nd post op day for bands but largely depends on how you feel and will need to see dietition before you leave, unless you see her on admission (they don't work weekends).
