Hospital stay

Hi can anyone tell me how long i,ll be in hospital for i,m getting my op in SRH x

I went in the friday afternoon 1.30 and came home on Monday morning, op was Sat morning, i was well enough to go home on the Sunday but had wind pain so just stayed til Monday, but the choice was mine because i was fit and well just the pain panicked me a little and i live bout 40 minutes away. xx

From what I've read on here, most people who get the op at srh come home 2 days later so it will prob be the sunday x

i had my operation on the tuesday and came out on the thursday.

i,m fine with a few days but i,ll be up the walls if its any longer x

I went in on Thursday about 3pm, had op on Friday about 930'ish and left hospital about 11'ish on the Sunday morning, it all depends on how your feeling, come hell or high water I was leaving cos it was my daughters birthday party at 12 noon. I was fine up and about on the evening of my op, the women who was in the bed next to me was troubled with pain and she wasn't up and about and think they were keeping her in a few days longer. I would recommend getting up and about as soon as you feel able to - good luck your in good hands at SRH x
