I take my chewable multivitamin and lanzoprazole and calcium tab when I first wake up.
Then my iron tablet an hour later with some water. I just can't face swallowing tabs when I first wake up.
Then in the evening it's another iron tablet with my tea and the second calcium tab before I go to bed along with my other non wls related meds.
I find it a pain in the neck to take them and have skipped a few days tbh, but then I find I am really tired so am trying to get back on track with taking my meds.
I've read that some of you seem to be taking calcium and iron supplements. May I ask who prescribes these?
I had my sleeve done on 21/05/2011 and all I've been told to take is a general multivitamin.
Hi I tend to take mine as soon as I get up - all at once and get it out of the way . . . I tend to have the 2nd iron and calcium tab around tea time. xx
the hospital prescribed my iron and calcium tabs before I was discharged and said I'll be on them for life. Does the sleeve have the same malabsorbtion problems as the bypass?

Thanks for your reply.
Maybe that's the difference between the bypass and sleeve? I know the nurse at my practice is going to check some of my vitamin levels in six weeks or so.
I take 1 Forceval multi vit with 2 iron tabs in the morning and then 2 calcichew and 1 forceval at night your not supposed to take calcichew and iron tabs together because of they don't absorb properly together or somethin like that hope that helps
p.s.i also forget to take them sometimes
