hi all ive been told 7-10 days stay for my fdl tt on mon, (by surgeon)this seems a bit long was just wondering how long u girls were kept in? thinking this is worse case scenario? cheers

Hi,

I had my FDL and muscles done on the Mon, and came home on the Sat, but should have came home on the Fri as drains were okay then. I was told that each drain needed to be below 50 before I could go home & mine was actually a bit higher on the Sat than the Fri!

I'm having a normal hip to hip TT on 23rd. At my Seminar earlier this week they said that depending on how well you're draining they usually aim to remove the drains approx 48hrs post op, and that's the cue to start the discharge paperwork.

With my hip to hip I was in ten days with drains out on the ninth. I had muscles done as well thou.

This time vertical t t no drains out the next afternoon xxx
