Different hospitals have different diets based in god know what. I had a short notice op so only had time for 7 days milk diet which is 3 pnts semi or skimmed milk + 2 muller lite yogurts Other people do low carbs. Your dietician will advise you more, xxx
thanks, i'm just trying to get all the info togther before i decide to def go for it. only found out fri that it would be a bypass not a sleeve. had geared meself up for a sleeve, but thats not possible now x

Its the same pre op diet for any of the surgery's as the aim is to shrink your liver to make it easier for the surgeon to see what he is doing & as they are all done laproscopically it is a necessary evil, lol xx

based on my original wgt of 125kg, i was told i had to lose 6 to 12 kgs, seemed daunting at the time but i did 3weeks when 2 weeks was ample to lose 10kgs, as i found it difficult most times,
