How long????

Did it take you guys to get to the op date from point of referral to actual op and how many of you have had it done on NHS

it took from my docs referal to op approx a year, im nhs

I was referred last June, and all I have had was a questionnaire sent out from the Fat Club aka the dietican. GP chased it up again in Feb and still nothing, so I ended up writing to the consultant himself as I am getting frustrated.

It varies from PCT to PCT. I am under Birmingham East & North PCT and was referred September 2008. I had my op at Walsall Manor hospital on 1st April 2009.

Mine took about 20 months, NHS.

im nhs and west sussex and it took 11 months from gp referal to op date

Im NHS and from referal to op was 16 weeks

i was ref in Jan 09 .. and my op is 13 days away ( gastric bypass).. im nhs Greenwich pct.. funding was approved in 3 weeks .. and i had that prior to been ref so was quite quick cause of this ...
