I had my first appointment with the Manor Hospital, Walsall, in Feb 2010 (after a 1 year waiting period with my GP) and was told that it would be within 6 months that I would have my gastric bypass. BUT, it is now 7 months down the line, and each time I call for an update am told that they are waiting for theatres to come available:sigh:. I am getting really down, was so excited when I first heard that I had been approved, then even more excited when I saw Dr Kendrick (got the thumbs up) and the dietician 
, but it seems to of all come to an abrupt halt. I realise that I am one of the lucky one's that has finally been offerred this opportunity, but feel like they have forgotten about me:wave_cry:. Is anyone else in the same boat as me???
