How much notice

At Sunderland How much notice do you get before op i.e. when is your date posted out and diet sheets?

I think all hospitals are different. With mine (Hampshire) you are usually given the date when you go for your pre-op assessment and I was given pre-op sheets at that appointment.

i got 4 weeks notice of op , and then the diet sheet came out a few days later . my pre op appoitment i got 3 weeks notice and that is next monday 6 days before my op.

Hi christine, i got my diet sheet last week and im due to start the diet on mon 14th march, ive not recieved my pre op yet, just read that you got yours 6 before op so im not worried now. haha

Hi. I found out on 2 November that my op was 21 February, and had my pre-op assessment on 21 January when they gave me my pre-op diet options, which i followed for 3 weeks.
I think all hospitlas/areas work differently. Mine was Homerton in London. Which hospital are you at, perhaps someone who's been there can advise what their timeline was?

i found out monday this week and my op is a week on monday so they posted my sheets out ASAP! so not much notice for me

i think all hospital are different with different rules..i was told i should get about 4 weeks notice, unless there is a cancellation... when i had my second band inserted i had a week notice... good luck xx

i start my pre op tomorrow tomorrow so by the time i get weighted next monday i should have lost even more weight am hoping to be 17 stone something on day of op-
