How soon can I have a glass of wine? our caravan is out of winter storage and this weekend we can go stay, and we normally get together with everyone else and have a glass or 2?
Also if I wanted to make it go further can I mix it with lemonade?
:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo
I dont drink very often but I would like to join in, what else can I add to wine to water it down thats not fizzy
Best person to advise u would be your provider as e1 provider gives different rules and settings anything from 3 months - 1 year. So ask them hun x I hope u dont mind me saying your only just over two weeks out from surgery, why would u want to drink this early out hun, u should be re-couperating. xxx
I had a small glass of red at Christmas time & was 3.5 months out & it really floored me! If you are wanting to try a drink (and I wouldn't recommend it this early out) its definately best to try at home then if you have any kind of reaction your in the best place to deal with it!
I think I will go without after listening to everyones advice, but trying to find an alternative I have never had non alcoholic wine do they do a non fizzy version and does it taste good?
Just have a soft drink hun,you wont feel left out you only think you have to eat or drink to be sociable!I would be just as happy with a cup of tea or lime water,its who you are with that matters.To be honest at two weeks out I would stay near home and take it easy,we think cos we look ok outside and sites are healing that the inside is too.Not so it has to heal and then stop swelling.Plus if your bowel kicks off wouldnt you be better at home?I wouldnt go caravaning till at least 4/6 weeks out.Just my opinion.I was told 12 months tone drink will have you on your back!
My caravan is my 2nd home so I am quite comfortable there and I have lots friends there too so even if I have probs I will be ok, I thought alot of the no drinking was to save people transferring "addiction" from food to drink but clearly its not just that lol
Lol yep I like your thinking Kev I will go with your advice then I can go for a nice walk around the lakes with the family and dog till the effects wear off xx
