Does anyone know how to appeal a funding rejection? My sister has been turned down after they changed the criteria whilst she was doing the weight management scheme so now she doesn't meet the guidelines despite actually doing so when she asked for surgery.
She's diabetic and asthmatic as well as having a back and joint problem and is only under the critical BMI by 1 point. I got my surgery with no problems as my BMI was way over the guidelines so I have no idea how to advise her on this. She's going to see her GP regarding this but other than contacting PALS at the hosp I'm not sure how else to proceed. Any help would be great, thanks xx
