Going to post this on here and the sleeve forum to help people decide if they are unsure as to which one to have.
I have been very hungry today and it has lead me to think about the hormone grehlin, the hormone that is secreted in our stomach to make us feel hungry. I have read that this is removed when a gastric sleeve is performed and although not removed with the wrap it can be reduced due to the restriction of the stomach.
I wondered what people's experience of hunger levels were at various stages post op eg 2 weeks, 2 months, 6 months, 1 year and beyond. Could be helpful if people were prepared to post their experiences and whether they have had the wrap or the sleeve.
Would be great to see if there is a marked difference.
