I have been approved for my VSG surgery, over the phone with UHC on the 6th of this month! Yay for that! I called my surgeons office to see if I could give them my case ID number and get "My Date!" Well I was told that they need the hard copy letter first. So since it's been 11 days and no letter yet I called UHC and asked them would they fax me a copy of my approval letter. They can but, wait for it, wait for it, it will take 10 DAYS!!! WTH!!! She said they have to submit a "request to fax form" to fax it!!! DOESN'T THAT DEFEAT THE PURPOSE!!!! Are you kidding me???? So hopefully next week I will receive this letter so I can get my schedule together, and my FMLA paperwork in order. So tired of these HOOPS!!! RANT OVER!! Thanks for your support!
