Hypo's post op??

Just wondering if anyone suffers from hypoglycaemia post-op but takes no anti-diabetic medication??

I was/is a type 2 diabetic on massive doses of insulin pre-op but now take no diabetic medication at all BUT I am suffering with hypo's on a nearly daily basis. I have introduced a little more complex carbs into my diet to try and prevent them but this is slowing my weight loss :/ which was slow to start with lol

I am 10 months post op now and have lost 8st 6lbs and have still another 5 and half stone to go to get me in the all exclusive under 25 BMI range.

Anyone else suffering from the same and dealing with it????? :argh:

I've developed reactive hypoglycaemia post op but wasn't diabetic pre-op. it's an occasional bypass complication. I have glucogel on prescription which I take when I have an episode, followed by a complex carb to keep me straight.
