I can wear a rainbow!!!

lamornamiss

wants to be a loser
After spending the last 2 days listing things that don't fit anymore on ebay.
I suddenly realised how many brown, black and dark blue things I owned.:(
I now own more reds, pale blues, yellows and greens than ever before, the washing line is just like a rainbow.:D
Anyone else gone all colourful??

What a lovely mental image that makes.
I have never sold anything on ebay and I am sure some of the stuff I have never worn will be worth selling. I will have to have a go.
Its all the mucking around taking pics and writing descriptions that i'm not keen on!

Awww Wendy... bless you... we are doing well... I always wore bright colours even when larger... as well as black, i.e., a black cami and trousers with a sky blue or pink jacket... Bright colours are so uplifting... I also have many pairs of bright shoes... handbags and umbrellas!

Keep on shining and spreading the sparkle Wendy.

All the prep is time consuming but when you start to get bids its a fantastic feeling
The worst part is packing and posting.
But seeing the money I make makes all the hassle worth it (around £200 in the last month and half) :D:D

WOW! It is definately worth it then. I will have to get myself together and do it.

Wendy, is it easy to get things sold generally with ebay? I worry about not getting a description spot on and then falling short due to this... well done precious. That's a good return.

Heres! to us all enjoying wearing brighter colours in the future.
Im just the same i mostly wear dark colours.
Im just looking at my washing line now and its full of mainly black clothes but they are my sons clothes. Looks really dark and drab..i can just imagine your rainbow of colours haha. xxx

Spread some sparkle girls... I've even got a size 18 trouser suit ready for my holiday in sunshine yellow... plain trousers and cami, with an overshirt in pretty pastels... and I'll have white sandals....

Go and shock them!

Spread some sunshine girls!

I bought a cowl neck knitted jumper the other day in the sale and its a mustard colour..suits my colouring really well but i would never have bought that colour before wls.
Im looking at brighter colours as i look around in the shops now...how exciting eh. xxxx

I've promised myself a week of sanctuary on a Greek Island later in the year... sorting hubby's hols first... but we used to island hop and I fancy doing a couple of the tiny islands... and my bright colours are going with me... plus I shall invest in a couple of 'Rose like Sarongs' that she is wearing on her beautiful avatar...

Bev I found the first time selling was nerve racking but once I started it was easy.
The secret to ebay is research
Look how other people write their descriptions.
I usually do a basic description
ie. Denim skirt, size 20, from Evans. Then I will put length and waist size and anything else that describes the skirt ie. elasticated back, splits, pockets etc. and any faults it may have ie. missing button.
I always weigh my items for postage to get an accurate postage rate and don't forget to add packing to the price and I offer collection (for when hubby can be there or I am on the phone to my daughter when i see them arrive)

Good Luck for all those selling . But Beware it can get quiet addictive :rolleyes:

I too am like Bev, I already wear rainbows, the bright colours are so often commented on, I love bright sunshine yellows and grass greens, a hint of summer in the dark winter months

Thanks Wendy.. I'll give it a go!

Carol keep spreading some sparkle... I tend to feel happier with my brighter colours and have always worn them...

Love and hugs xxx
