Just as the title says.....

After nearly 7 weeks of pre op meal replacement shakes, milk & yoghurts then 2 weeks post op liquids this evening I just had the smallest bit of mash & gravy (blended to oblivion)

PROPER FOOD AT LAST!!!

haha I was soooo excited :D & totally bloated after a couple of teaspoons but oh so worth it!!

I can only guess it must have tasted like heaven on a teaspoon!

Hi Gemzy...if you don't mind me asking, how much did you lose on your pre op x

Hi Jay, I lost 23lb on pre op (21lb doing 3 weeks of meal replacements, a measly 2lb doing nearly a month of milk & yoghurts)

I gained 5lb in hospital (i'm assuming that was gas) & have stalled weightwise since day 10 (4 days now) post op

I added a little bit of corned beef to my mash and gravy and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven :)
Puréed chicken breast and gravy is pretty good too ..
