I got some unexpected fab news!

Hi all
I got some unexpected fab news in the post today!
After my appointment with the doc 2 weeks ago when i told her Orlistat made me feel awful, she said she would write to the hospital for advice.
Today i got a letter in the post with an appointment for a 2 hour information session on the surgery with a specialist dietician, and specialist nurse. I need to attend this session before i can make an app in clinic with Mr Ackroyd.

Im sooooo happy, i wasnt expecting this, so its a great surprise, and i hope the start of my journey to WLS!
My app is on dec 3rd, so not long at all!!!

thank you! i know its not guaranteed that i will be suitable for WLS, or get funding, but just getting the referal has been a battle itself, so im really pleased.
2 weeks on wed!! cant wait, and then i hope it isnt too long to get my consultant app!

great news!!!!! that's the first step done. once you get to the hospital you will find everyone so helpful. No one will be telling you off because of your weight, they are on your side. You will find them easy to talk to and understanding. You have a BMI of 54 so funding shouldn't be a problem. Good luck and keep us up to date.

I found it hard to get my doctor to refer me so well done! plain sailing from here.
