Hey
I have been looking at the letter from the PCT in which they have agreed to approve funding and it also says that your patient may be subject to a weight management programme which could last 12-18 months and depending on the outcome your patient may or may not receive surgery. Then at the bottom it says make your referral as appropriate with a copy of the letter as evidence of our agreement and that they understand that an invoice will be sent to the specialised commissioning group for payment on our behalf.
Since then, I have now received my first consultation appointment with the surgeon for 5th July but just wondered if he suggests the weight management programme. Not sure about it really and just wondered if anyone else had the same?
Would appreciate any feedback....thanks
