I will not be fat at forty !

Hi all one week today I started my 'road to a new life' having my gastric band fitted , I am looking forward to shopping in high street stores, not having to squeeze into the airplane seat or wondering if I need a seat belt extension ashamed of what I look like to other people.

For six months I contemplated wls and weighed up all the pros and cons researched everything and decided to myself 'I will not be fat at forty!'

I have read many stories on this forum and thank you all as I feel there is so much support and motivation available. I only hope that I can aspire to be as strong as you x
