Had bypass on Monday pain no were near as bad as expected......got discharged today ...... Hopefully get a nice sleep in my own bed

Congratulations! It's so nice to hear when people say they didn't have much pain, it's a scary thought before your op xx

I was so worried I started crying when I went in to theatre I was terrified I cudnt sleep for days I was fine woke up in recovery felt fine thought they hadn't really operated on me lol ..... The only pain I've ad is a stitch on the left side and sum wind x

That's great isn't it, my biggest fear is becoming aware during the operation, so it's always a relief to hear when people haven't lol. Now I guess it all starts for you.

I had my op 22 Feb and have had no trouble at all since except a couple of hours of trapped wind about 5 days out and the occasional little adrenaline dip where I feel a little low.
I hope your journey is as good as mine x

I haven't had a date yet and I'm already worrying about everything. I have my pre op on Thursday.

Everyone on here seems to be so relaxed and matter of fact about the whole process.

I'm scared of the operation. The possibility of things going wrong. And a million and one other things.
