Im new does anyone know of Mr Nijjar Heartlands

Hi am new here, not sure how site works!!!!!!!!!!!!
have been reading threads and post that I can get access to.

I have just received my letter for banding on 16th March at Heartlands. Was due to see Mr Super but there was some problems to do with funding and now am seeing a Mr Nijjar. My funding was through Aug 09 but I kept getting missed off of lists???????????? first saw Mr Super Nov09 and have been sat waiting for date every time post came, also on phone lots to try to get sorted out. Would have to wait even longer if stayed on Mr Supers List so they have moved me. Does anyone know anything about or have had surgery with Mr Nijjar at heartlands?

Have been trying to lose weight for many years and have seen consultants, my gp and many others trying drug after drug to no avail. :cry: Suffer from a form of arthritis so have got funding on health reasons.

Wow, you've had a roller coaster ride already....

Welcome to the site, get posting as much as possible, it tends to release all kinds of treats on here.... All non edible unfortunately

I met Raj Nijjar as he was due to due my op on the day it was cancelled, he said he is a keyhole surgery specialist , and does gastric operations as his field of excellence, nice young chap easy to talk too.
never had op by him had mr richardson in the end.

Hi bullyfun thanks for the info (not sure knowing he's a young chap is good for the old self esteem haha) you have lost loads welldone how much of that is since you had your band? And do you know why you had an op cancelled (hope mine isn't)

I had my band done by Mr Super at heartlands , but can't help you with Mr Nijjar sorry , it's been 10 days since my op , i'm doing ok and waiting for my 1st fill (15th March) All the staff at Heartlands were great. Sorry to hear you were missed of lists , it happened to me last year too, not to worry your on your way now .x
