My journey started last July 2012 when the doctor actually planted the idea of a gastric band in my head. Had the seminar in sep 12, 1st consultant appt feb 13, 2nd consultant appt may 13 endoscopy aug 13 and now I'm officially on list. Been told could be about Xmas time. I'm hoping its after to be honest. Last Christmas n all that! Ha

Hiya. How much in advance has everyone had for op date? Do u get appt letter like a month before it or so? And how long are you immobile for or in hospital? I'm goin to struggle with childcare ?
