I'm officially the best mum in the world apparently

Kieran wanted to buy himself Spore game for the PC so I ordered it on Amazon yesterday morning and told him they estimated delivery the end of next week.

It arrived this morning

So Kieran is thrilled and said I'm the best mum in the world Not bad considering he paid for it and I couldn't control when the seller posted it out but I got all the credit

Well I haven't seen him since yesterday morning when I gave him the game.

I vaguely heard some mumbling yesterday as "it" came downstairs to collect it's lunch and went straight back up again. And then I think I saw a blur at dinner time when it darted to the table for about 4 seconds to wolf down it's meal.

There will be tears today when I make him leave the game alone for a few hours for homework, bath etc

Ah, you are a good Mum

Take comfort that your son wasn't as desperate to get hold of the game as one boy whose story I heard on radio this week. He apparently wanted a game and his mother said 'No'. So he went into her purse, took her credit card and simly ordered it himself online! He is 8 years old!!

Scary business! LOL x
