x

Wow, well done, what are you allowed on your milk diet? They are all so different, Im thinking of doing it for my liver shrinking but they all differ and Im not sure what to have. Keep up the good work x

Hi, I have been follwing you this past week or so reading your threads and you have encouraged me to take the same action!! I still have approx 2months before my next appointment with sunderland but only 2lbs lighter!! i also need to lose 11lbs. Can i just ask is there a certain amount of milk you can drink? i have been looking on here for info but can't seem to find the total milk allowance for a day!!

Ps children christening in 3weeks and holiday in 7 weeks so hopefully i'll get a bit off me for that!

Take care and good luck at your appointment

Jo xx:)

Hi Jo, I am only going on whjat I've read on here some have said 2 pints and some have said 4, so I've been having approx. 3 pints. Hope this helps and good luck with your diet, Karen x

The very best of good wishes and good luck Karen... love and hugs, Bev xxx

My milk diet was 3 pints semi-skimmed milk, 2 diet yoghurts, 3 peices fruit, NAS squash, water, tea, coffee, etc, sugar free jelly, limited diet veg soup.

BUT please remember this is a liver-shrinking diet and NOT MEANT for long term use. Also, although some do well on it, I only lost 4 pounds in 10 days, so there's no guarantee.

Personally I think that unless the need is dire, low fat, low carb, high protein works better, is more sustainable and is a lot healthier/safer.
I did that for a month before surgery and lost a stone!
