Incision pain

MY lower left incision when I bend a certain way is a sharp stabbing pain. I'm 1 month post op my scars are all healed and fine most of the time but I almost cried the other day when I bent over. Is this normal?

I had similar about 3 weeks out and figured I was probably doing a little too much. Mine felt like it was definitely muscular and a bit cramp-like. After making sure that I did very little in terms of reaching, bending, carrying ANYTHING, it went away. I still get it now if I've been overdoing it though. See it as a warning to rest up a bit! And if it doesn't go it might be worth talking to your team just to check it out.

Thanks, I called the dr today they want me to come in to rule out a hernia. Going next week wish me luck!
