Thanks for asking after me! How are you doing?
I'm ok thanks. Still having lots of problems with my band. I've been on a liquid diet for 5 weeks now. Had my total de-fill 3 weeks ago which didn't help. Then had an xray cos they thought maybe I had band slippage but it looked ok. The latest theory is that possibly the tubing is kinked. I have a loop of tubing protruding forwards causing a lump in my skin near my port. So now I'm waiting for my nurse to get some other opinions from Sheffield and Bruges and take it from there. All very frustrating! It's why I don't post on here that much but I often pop on to keep up with how all of you are doing...

thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear that you are having such a rough ride. I think about you often because you had your band fitted just a few days before me. I am doing ok,due to have my third band fill on November 16th. I have been doing a bit of yo-yoing the last week so I think it is time for another fill. cant they run some sort of die through your port and then xray you so that all of your band, port and tubing shows up and then they can see if there is anything kinked or any other noticeable problem? I don't post too much on here, but when i do get on here I try to find out how a few people are doing and if they have posted lately. Are you still working? What is the next step for you? I will keep my fingers crossed for you,I know it must be really frustrating. I get frustrated yo-yoing, but I don't know how I would cope if I were in your shoes. I just think it goes to show how much character and drive you have to be able to tolerate a liquid diet for so long. You have to give yourself a pat on the back for how much you have been through, and you are still staying positive and strong. THinking about you .

have you any news? how are things going?
The last 10 days or so have been bad, eating wise for me, but on a positive note am due for a band adjustment tomorrow.
Have you had any more investigations into your problems, any xrays etc?
Keep in touch and let us know how things are. I know there are a good few people on here who are probably keen to find out how things are going for you.:hug99:
