Well I'm here! Admitted, given a bed had some water, met some nurses. Seen dietician. I've been told I'm second on the list tomorrow and the first op should be a 30 min procedure do I'll be in about 9 am. They have already fitted a cannula and taken bloods. I will receive the sliding scale for my insulin soon. I must say I AM SO SCARED. Im laughing it off with my sister but she knows what I'm like so she is being really supportive and keeping my mind off things. Cant believe I'm here. Can't believe it's gonna happen. It's all go!! X

Thanks shellymarie! Sooo excited for my new life. All the traumas and pains of the pre-op diet have been left behind. Worried about the wind pain after op that lots of people have said is quite painful. Asked my sister to bring some peppermint tea tomorrow and hoping that may relieve the 'pressure'. X
