I am now a sleevie....no pain from op..just a bit in my shoulders...feel good...so happy now..looking forward to my new life...good luck to all u august sleevies!!

Well i am now almost a week in...not hungry..have to remind muself to eat..lol..been out to the beach today and took some of the fruity smooth baby food in a pouch bought from asda...worked a treat and really yummy...pain has all gone now...and the shoulder agony also gone...and to top it all off i have lost 5 kgs since last thursday...i love my sleeve...hope u guys are all ok

Yes it is normal..i had the same feeling..but after a few days the scariness left to be replaced by unbridled excitement...do not be put odf hargs...it is so worth it...do what i did and start window shopping for the outfit u want to wear at xmas..helps put your mind at ease....go for it..it will be the best thing you ever do

Yep...one week post op...well six days..feel great..all pain went after first couple of days..i have lost 12lbs since the morning of my op....get tired a little easier but that was expected...i am so happy i did it...now looking foward to my holiday instead of dreading it....the diet is so easy...just blend everything....i am sure u will be fine..and any fears or worries just voice them here..we are all here to help...xx
Great to hear you are doing so well. Thanks for your support. I am just imagining the worst all the time. I am a bit worried that my surgeon won't be able to do it because of the scar tissue from my band but the surgeon I have chosen specialises in revision surgery so that should not be a worry but it still is x x

I am now on my lsd which is slimfast, followed by slimfast, and slimfast with slimfast. yes that's 4 times a day.

Thats it, it is official I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!! Jumped on the scales this morning and was shocked to discover since last Thursday morning I have lost 16lbs!!! Had to get on and off several times!!! I would have loved your preop diet...mmm eggs!!! All I had was 4 pints of semi skimmed milk, a sugar free jelly and a bovril.....lost nearly a stone on it though!!! Can't be long for you guys now...how you all feeling?
