Discovered some ' toast brioche' at supermarket today. Like Melba toast but lighter & made from brioche. Crunchy but melt in the mouth. Had some goats cheese, 1 'toast' & some fresh salad. Really made a nice change & I could tolerate quite well. Anyone seen these in the Uk? I'm gonna bring some back.
:p

It was thx & may even have it again tomorrow LOL protein level pretty good & not too bad on calories & fat either. Did a quick calculation from back of PCTs - yeah I know I'm a saddo!

Packets not PCTs - goh my iPad predictive text knows about PCTs now !

Sounds lovely ... If you find them over here please update us

J'espère que vous vous amusez bien :D

Thx. Will do & your French is fantastic. Mine is cr*p!

I studied at uni there, but the French used to laugh at my broad northern english accent trying to speak French, so no français oral for me any more ... It sounds heaven to be over there. You are soooooo lucky. Don't get why you are cr@p ... Maybe you had one too many vin rouge LOL X

Aw, I'm sure your spoken French is fine!

I saw that Sainsbury's sells little brioche rolls, maybe you could slice on and toast it for the same effect? As an authentic French person, I found them acceptable :) not quite a proper brioche vendeene or anything like that but adequate when I need a taste of France that doesn't cost an arm and a leg...

Guys - Thx for this. Noooooo my French is not very good despite being married to a Frenchman for 10 years. Now I'm with an Italian & my Italian is nonexistent! As you can see I am doing my bit for the EU LOL

It would be rude not to do your bit !!! :D

But wish Angela Meerkel would give me a good rate on the Euro LOL
