Jozefina - where are you?

Here I am! Got home last night - blimey.

Thanks for checking in; will update more fully on the June 2013 thread x

PS: is it just me or do cuppa soups and Slimfasts smell awful? I've never had either until yesterday and they are rank ...

Hi - nice to see your back and OK. I've got a pretty naff sense of smell and taste so they don't bother me but you're not the only one to have said that.

AE.

You'll see on my other thread that I've been throwing up a lot post op - maybe that's why I've got a particularly acute sense of smell at the mo?

Anyway - it's all "part of the process ..."

PS I asked MR where my DVD was and he cracked up and asked how I knew about it! I tapped my nose, LOL

My sense of taste has changed dramatically post op. All artificial sweeteners taste awful and so does coffee.
My surgeon said it can happen and cannot predict how much it will last.

LOL the DVD - watched mine the other day and found it really amazing.

Seems the liver shrinkage diet worked really well as it was looking very good and was easy for MR to move out of the way.

I was amazed though seeing the fat inside my body - it even has its own blood supply going to it, but it's now very much on borrowed time and will be going as soon as possible.

Watching how he did the sleeve was fascinating - modern technology amazing.

Too much information for some perhaps - I'm such a ghoul -

Hey guys. My sense of smell was hyper sensitive post op. couldn't stand the smell of garlic on my fella. It wears off though :)
