Just had my clips out

Just got home from my follow-up appointment and had my incision clips removed. Pinched a bit, but nothing drastic. One of them had already escaped - from my belly button. Lordy knows how! But they said it all looked fine.

I can now proceed to the puree diet. Hurrah! xx

Definitely more comfortable! I didn't like the look of them either, so got all wobbly every time I got undressed (actually, I'm ALWAYS wobbly when I'm undressed - but that's the fat! ) xx

They're the metal staples they use to close the incisions that the surgeon makes on your stomach. Basically they're metal stitches. It sounds more horrendous than they are. They don't hurt when they're in and there's only a little discomfort (more of a pinch) when you have them taken out.
