Thursday op at Luton. Textbook apparently which is always good news. Lots of gurgling going on - is this normal. Only drinking water. Tried a little cold milk but made me retch. Flamin headache from hell tho.
Sounds fairly normal but monitor especially headache. Keep your fluids up. Take medical advice if it continues. I'm still gurgling after 8 months (sleeve)!
Glad it went well, I personally didn't have a headache, just felt very rough and tired, but it could be dehydration Sip fluids through the day and see if it helps.
Try hot things if cold fluids are making you wretch. Keep an open mind and give things a go. As others have said, keep your fluids up. Keep sip, sip, sipping
Thanks everyone. Sipping. Gonna try some new fluids today. It's strange as I'm not sure what full feels like but I'm sure that will settle down. Just need to build up strength again now.

Well done Sam,you have officially made it onto the losers bench, keep taking the fluids,as that's probably why you have a headache,I'm nearly 4 wks post op,I had a headache for the first week till I got my fluids going properly, keep up the good work, hope you feel better soon.x
Welcome back, I have gurgling all the time, its normal now. In the first weeks I tried as many liquids as possible but as it was summer for me I had loads of home made ice lollies. I went off milk for a bit because of the milk beforehand, but I found that I could tolerate watered down soup.
