Just recieved my pre-op diet

Hi guys,I've just got my pre op milk diet through the post,they've told me to keep it safe as they won't send out another one, and they will be in touch, does anyone know how long before the operation date do they usually send this out, I'm so excited and want to start it straight away ,but have read on here that its not wise to start it too soon.

I haven't got a date yet, my surgeon said about march but when I called the ward a couple of weeks ago to ask a question she said it could be up to may, I was gutted, but now that I've got the diet I was really hoping it wouldn't be that far away

I know mine wasn't a long time I had to do pre op diet for 3 weeks which isn't as short as some but was low calorie low carbs low fat approx 800 calls a day but before that I had to do post op diet which I would be on for life as I had DS xxx good luck I'm sure you'll hear soon
