hi my name is jaccy and i am at present just waiting on a descion as to whether i have been accepted for wls and i would like to speak to people about there views on the surgery and there up and downs.. highs and lows x
Hi Jaccy, welcome to the forum. Im 6 weeks post op and i have no regrets... my lows were week 2 to 5 because i had a bladder infection but that wasnt connected to the op.. but now im over that im enjoying trying different foods and being more active and doing things i couldnt do before xx
Hi, I haven't had surgery yet so cant give much advice apart from its disheartening when ur told how long the wait is for the op but it really does fly by!! I go for gastric sleeve next month. I'm really nervous but I know it will be worth it in the long run
hiya and welcome!. Im 8 wks post op and wud say the 2 wks pre op and the first 4/5 wks post op were the hardest, i describe it as physically it was easy luckily i had no pain what so ever but mentally it was hard i initially missed food and fizzy pop!!! that was my biggest weekness i love the stuff and was craving it badly. but now am starting to enjoy my bypass i can eat anything so far without dumping only now i had tiny amounts, bread is still a bit hit n miss but i dont mind i used to eat lots of pizza and bread so dont want to be able to go back to my old ways. Good luck with ur journey it can be hard but worth it xx
