i wanted to share my happy feelings i weighed myself today and since my first appointment i have managed to lose 35lbs. a while back i seperated from my husband and i paniced and thought please dont turn to food cos thats my usual trick but i have managed to stay strong and hold myself together. im very proud of myself. i have never had much confidence and these past few weeks i have been going out more and meeting new people and actually felt good about the way i looked. after the op im gonna get this feeling so much more. i just want to say how much i love this site and how every one is so supportive and non judgemental even though i have not had my op yet the support you recieve on this site is immense. thank you.xx

Awww that is lovely. You have done so and in such difficult circumstances... I agree entirely... we do spur each other along on here and it really is helpful... thanks to this forum I have lost over 2 stones for the first time in ages due the help I have had on here... it's been amazing... good luck and loads of love xxx

i wonder if..... there were no bariatric surgery, if we could all lose weight and keep it off just with the help of this forum, cos it does keep us focused and theres always someone to comfort and encourage us.,,,,.... just a thought.
