lactose free

Hi guys

Has anyone else become lactose intolerant since their op?
if so can anyone suggest a nice tasty milk as i love my cereal. also what else did you change and how do i get all my protein now x

Yep me is try lactose free milk from tesco £1:49 a carton xxx they also do yoghurt and cheese xxx

Tracey how long have you been lactose intolerant? Have you actually been diagnosed with it? I did the one from tesco in the green carton and it was fine. I did find that after a few weeks my intolerance disappeared

hi Phatmomma,

well when ever i have milk it goes straight through me and i have very bad stomach pains i have been to gp and seen my team on my 3 month check they advised semi skimmed and if it still happened lactose free. i am now four month out and i started this prob 87 weeks ago and i had milk the other day same thing happened as the doctors advised i tried it a few times in the future.
could i ask when you had a prob..eg how far out and how long it latsed x
