Lactose Intolerance and the RnY

Hey guys,

Those of you following my blog will see that I have had a rough ride of it since Wednesday evening where I have been vomiting shed loads.

I have cut out everything and am now on just water.

I am now becoming more suspicious that I may have developed lactose intolerance.

Does anyone else on the forums suffer from this since there RnY?

Hi Rick, i have not got lactose intolerance but have found since having the bypass i cannot eat yougharts or anything milky wityhout having an upset tummy. my daughter is lactose intolerant and she suffers from terrible vomiting and upset tums if she has anything. have you tried soya? she manages small amounts of this ok. the best thing to do is go milk free for a period of time and gradually introduce it to see how you manage. it may be a temporary problem and may settle for you.

Sorry that I can't help you on this issue but did n't want to read and run and hope that you get it sorted out and are feeling better, nothing worse than feeling rotten when things had been going so well.
