Yes that will be the port site (presuming thats where yours is located , (mine is) your still very early days so just take it easy and it does get better and before you know it you wont even notice it not being sore no more xxx All the best xx

was thinking of going back to work on monday, but job involves lots of driving, getting in and out of the car aroung 10-14 times a day and lifting so i might give it another week

3 Weeks post op is way too soon to be doing any lifting, and with the driving aspects have u been given the all clear to be driving so soon ?? Some insurance companies will not validate ur insurance if u havent been given the all clear to drive yet by your team, and if you dont feel 100% and still sore then your right to give your self more time too heal as u dont wanna cause yourself a mischieve and end up being off for longer through not giving your self proper time to heal xx Good luck in wot u decided.

Well done on losing your 1st stone!

Regards going back to work I went back after a week BUT everyone is different so please, please wait until you feel ready. I drive alot too and was given the all clear to drive by my GP 5 days post op. I was just careful for the 1st week x

well done on your loss xx
