went to gps today and saw one of the senior partners no less, was crapping it a bit but went in full of confidence, have got a gall bladder scan on 31 dec at the other surgery in streetly. I then broached the subject of funding he looked really shocked and said that as far as he was concerned the process was just a formlity and that i wopuld be having the surgery march/april time. He said that looking at the letter that was sent to him it seemed to be a foregone conclusion because i meet all the criteria set by the pct if i hadnt heard by the first week in january to call the surgery and he would personally chase them, so i feel a bit less confused today.

ah thats great news T. Now you can stop worrying, it sounds like it is a cert.

My GP also said not to worry about funding. He said if Mr Khan says yay then its a formality as I meet the PCT criteria. So sounds like you will be getting things moving soon then hun xx

thanks all of you just found out the next pct meeting is on n17th december, so as i may have just missed the november one i will defo have my case heard next week so fingers crossed all the way.
