Letter to PCT!!!

I wonder whether anyone can help me as to what to put in a supporting letter to the PCT, that will help my case.

Hi Helen,

you are so much like me! You are in a very good place here with us. We will help you every step of the way. I am happy to share my letters with you. First of all you need to get refered to the hospital.

In my case I was recommended for the WLS by the consultant, he wrote to my GP and asked him to ask the PCT to fund the surgery. My GP filled the forms in and I added my own letter and a list of my problems. I also had 4 support letters from other medical professionals who were dealing with my medical problems. This all went to the PCT.

Once you have the funding then your GP write again to the surgeon to request you WLS.

Some areas are easier than mine. You will find people on here in your area who will be able to help you.

once you have posted 50 time we will be able to contact each other so get posting.
