Liquid diet

Hi all as I am on a liquid diet for 4 weeks just wondered what others had at this stage or any different soups etc, any ideas would be much appreciated

Hi Shelly
The liquid stage is really boring, i was sieving all soups as there are not enough smooth ones. I was having soup for breakfast, lunch and dinner it was awful. It was hot choc last thing at night, but my OH went out and bought me a mars milk drink near the end, thought ide died and gone to heaven!!!
Sorry i cant offer much menu wise, i found this stage the worst and thank god i slept the most at this stage

Hi was it options hot chocolate or cadburys light? I haven't had one of those. Did you have tinned soups or make your own? X

Options belgium choc, i had tinned soups i did make my own potato and leek once and found homemade really filled me up. I only had to do it for 2 weeks though. Someone will come on here soon with a whole list of liquidy foods.
How many days have you done so far?

I have been on it for 11 days got another 16 days left and counting, my teeth feel redundant lol x

I know what you mean, my pre op was 2 weeks soup and yoghurt then another 2 weeks liquid after the op! i longed to chew and when i did it was bliss. Puree stage was my favourite because i blended anything, my OH was eewww how can you eat that, it was all about the taste by then.
