No added sugar squash, watered down fruit juice, home made smoothies, milk, water, tea, coffee, herbal teas, fruit teas, actimel type drinks, still sugar free flavoured water.
Well I managed fine for two weeks on those types of liquid. You won't feel hungry at all and in the early stages post op, you have to give your body time to heal both inside and out. It's really important to keep your fluid intake as high as possible. So if you can have lots of variety, it makes it a little more interesting. You can also drink Bovril. If your worried you can always ask your bariatric team
I had loads of clear fluids and thinned down soup, (which I dumped on) so I switched to home made fruit smoothies made with fresh fruit and milk, mmmm lovely!!
