Looking for information on bariatric services/support in Plymouth

Hi everyone

I had RNY in November last year so I'm nearly a year out. I had this in a military hospital overseas while my husband is serving. We will soon move back to Plymouth and I am wondering how I can get onto the bariatric program for follow-up. Especially as I have an active marginal ulcer so I need monitoring.

Hi, I live in Plymouth too.....there are some bariatric surgeons at Derriford, but I had my surgery (NHS) at Taunton. Just ask your GP to refer you.

I'm in Plymouth - your GP will be able to refer you to Derriford for follow up. They do 6wk,6wk,6mn, then yearly. GP has to do bloods and you have to hook your own B12 injections.
Consultants have a specialist nurse Sally Sleeman.
We also have once a month group of Pre &post op people who support each other.
