I'm due to start my pre-op diet on Weds and spent Sunday afternooon working out my meal plans. I'm on one where you have your 5-a-day along with 3 servings of protein, 2 of carbs and 2 of dairy. The protein is something like 100g chicken or a piece of fish, and the carbs are a small baked potato, 3 tablespoons of pasta etc, and I have to do it for four weeks.
Thing is, I've not seen anyone do anything similar - everyone else seems to do a vastly reduced version for a shorter time, and I seem to have an awful lot to eat each day for being on a restrictive diet!
Has anyone else done something similar before? I'm at the Whittington in London if that's of any help... I suppose I'm just worried I won't reduce my liver enough!
