Massage, physio etc...

I was talking to my sister the other day, she's a nurse and thankfully very supportive, says getting banded is the best choice I could possibly make and I trust her a lot.

Anyway, she was asking about plastic surgery once I have lost all the weight, and I said I wasn't thinking about that right now, just too much to think about as it is without looking that far ahead!

She then suggested I look into physio and massages to help firming up the skin as the weight goes. I know it won't be a full solution or a replacement for surgery, but it's worth a thought, every little helps, kind of thing.

Thoughts on the subject anyone?

You won't need physio, you'll be wasting your money. Any resistance exercises or cardio with weights is the best for toning and maintaining muscle mass. Massage won't do anything either. The most important thing is to have a really good protein intake, to ensure your body burns fat and not your lean muscle mass for energy :)
