Meant to say about travel insurance too!

When i contacted travel insurance companies prior to travelling abroad they either wouldn't touch me cause of the bypass or they were chanrging ridiculous amounts. Found a company on the web called terrablu who specialise in disabilities mainly but they covered me for 24 quid for the holiday!!!! also was advised that i needed a medi alert card which my hospital provided. Anyone thinking of holidays i would suggest giving the company a bell as they were the cheapest by far!

Not sure if this helps but in Australia, most gold MASTERCARDS if you have one offer you travel insurance as part of being thier customer!

I phoned them on 08707779548 and they were the only company who would offer me insurance at such a cheap cost. The only criteria was that the op had to be for medical reasons as opposed to cosmetic!!! all weight loss surgery is to improve health so everyone should be eligible. let me know how you get on x
