Mega itchy (not sites)

im so so itchy....its on the sides of my abdomen and upto sides of boobs....worst on sides...i had single incision right in the middle of my abdomen so its not that.

rang the healthier weight emergency line thingy ydy as was really abd and she told me to remove the dressing as some ppl are allergic which i did. i been drinking piriton and using eurax but the itch isnt releieved....its unbearable.... :cry:

could i be reacting to the clexane? or possibly the band? :wave_cry:

I cant answer your questions but wanted to say have you tried aqueus cream ? .. cheap and brilliant, use it as soap to
also Doublebase is fab for itching but not sure you can buy it over the counter.
and also Alveeno is another brill cream, my daughter used it for her psoriasis itch and found it marvelous ...

I had it!For me it was the Fastabs!I stopped itching as soon as I stopped taking them.Im on Zantac now instead.Check the info sheets in your medication.Maz x

i put olive oil on it and its defo helped still itchy but not unbearable. was going mad

MAz i didnt get any fats tabs but i think it might be the injections/new protein powder i was chucking into everything. its maxitone or maximuscle..from holland and barrat and loadsa weird things in it.

glad i wasnt the only one to have this and thanks for the tips....im off to baste myself in olive oil, some cracked black pepper and a sprig of rosemary! lols (im a bad cook in case u couldnt guess!)

I find this hot weather makes my wounds itch. Sun on my belly for a while and i go into itch mode.
