Metal staples

[New Beginnings]

Due to have my staples removed tomorrow. Last few days they have been pinching and feel really sore. Does it hurt to have them removed ? I'm having a panic over it, I'm not good with pain !!!!!!

Some will vitually drop out,some give a twinge but on the whole not painful!

I have no experience so sorry, can't advise BUT thought this may give you something to giggle about to take your mind off it.

My father had a knee replacement two years ago and the district nurse came to the house to take his staples out. One of them was being a bit awkward so she knelt in front of my father and hunched over to get some leverage to it.

Just as she positioned herself my mother walked through the door ...... with the vicar.

Now, the chair my dad was sitting in faces the door at a slight angle and from the door it looked like the nurse had her head buried in my father's lap.

Ha ha Sue that made me smile. Staples are out and all that worry was for nothing, they didn't hurt a bit. The nurse was fab and really put me at my ease.
